THE OUTSIDE STORY

This property was in a great family and beach area location. It looked a little tired and cluttered however, it did really well with some updates. The target market opportunity was to appeal to a family with children varying from very young through to university. There’s a potential renovation for new owners including opening out towards the rear and an opportunity to reconfigure the internal layout for their long future there. This was a very desirable property with just these basic cosmetic changes listed in the Property Makeover Summary Report to be done to set up for a successful sale.

 

THE INSIDE STORY

This property was in original condition.  On a limited budget, we had to work hard to overcome the red-brick look.  We selected a contemporary colour for the outside to give it more appeal, as well as worked hard in the yard to clean and clear.  The same applied to the inside with many years of items, including our clients late husband’s items. It was a large and emotional job for our client. I was delighted with the end look and this was reflected in the sales strategy, which occured at a very challenging market time.
