THE OUTSIDE STORY

This property is in a peaceful, leafy part of Sydney. It was dated and not well-maintained but had the potential to be a very appealing family home. It did really well with all the maintenance issues rectified, some cosmetic updates, building works and furniture hire. The home was presented well to attract wider market interest along with a more efficient sale.

The target market opportunity was to appeal to a family with children varying from primary school age through to university. This cosmetic renovation took the home to the next level of appeal with a ‘done for you’ product in a broadly appealing style as well as moving into her downsized home. Minimising the vendor’s time and maximising their profit were critical for them during that time and their next move. By completing these recommendations, this gave the vendor the best opportunity for success.

THE INSIDE STORY

Our client had been living in her family home for 45 years. She and her husband had built this beautiful home in the bush when they had young toddlers. It was a large family home that had become way too big and hard to maintain for them and it was definitely the right time for them to Rightsize. Our client had purchased a brand new, beautiful 3-bedroom apartment which absolutely suited for retirement, away from the bush setting, on to the beach! We were excited to assist our Rightsizing client with the entire transition out of the old and into the new, helping her every step of the way.
