BG PROPERTY STYLING’S BIG NIGHT

Following BG Property Styling’s winning the Best of Houzz Award for Customer Service at the beginning of the year, the company was once again chosen as a finalist for the Northern Beaches Local Business Awards Home Renovations/Improvement category.

And the list doesn’t end there. Months prior, BG Property Styling was recognised as a finalist on two categories for the NSW Business Chamber Business Awards: Excellence in Business Ethics and Excellence in Innovation. As an icing to the cake, Belinda Grundy, founder of BG Property Styling, was also named finalist for the Business Leader category.

So on two nights in June and in July, Belinda got the privilege to attend two gala nights and got to meet new people in various industries. And while she was on a tight race against both nights’ eventual winners, she knew that not every business is given this kind of opportunity.

“We pipped, that’s for certain; but nothing beats the feeling of pride as you get to see your business, your team, and your name flashing before the very eyes of accomplished businesses. It’s become a self-affirming night for me. After all these years, it dawned on me that we are where we are – and that’s certainly somewhere worthy of this kind of attention,’ Belinda says after that eventful evening.

So what’s next for her and the company? ‘Well, we still have a lot of property makeover projects to coordinate! And with this newfound inspiration, the entire team is amped to become simply the best in the industry.’

Will she still join next year’s rounds of nominations? ‘Of course, we will! There’s a lot to be done, and I’m not only talking about the business itself. You always have to keep on trying until you finally get it. That’s why they say you deserve your own victories.’

Does she have any message to anyone? ‘Real estate agents, real estate professionals, friends in business, and homeowners: you did this to me! You did this to my company! I didn’t get this far without your confidence. And to my team, my family, and my friends; we have a long way to go but I’d like to thank you ahead of time for that moment when we’ll all enjoy the magic of the spotlight!’
