25 Apr IT TAKES A VILLAGE
- Save money
- Cutback on the upkeep of the home
- Reduce their carbon footprint
- To pursue a dream job that pays less
In most of these cases they’ll often think:
“After years in our family home, where we raised our family and created so many loving memories, we are moving to a smaller home. Where do we even begin?”
The answer to this question is simple. You don’t do it alone. There is a saying it takes a village to raise a child, we also think it takes a village to provide assistance and guidance during a downsize. You’ve got to plan, pack and call in contractors plus heaps of other things. You could make a list a mile long but if you don’t know what to add to that list, you may be making things harder on yourself.
A downsize can be emotionally and physically demanding. The point is to not leave anyone feeling devastated and stressed, so coming up with a strong plan of action is imperative for keeping things cool.
